Having only stepped onto a paddle board late summer 2009 I quickly became obsessed with the sport. Having come from a traditional prone surfing background the SUP gave me the opportunity to get out on the water even on flat days, ideal for British summers.

2010 saw me enter & win my first International Race a the SUP Cup in Hamburg.

Since then  I have competed Nationally & Internationally at a high level, with podium places in the UK in over 80 races.

In 2012 I was introduced to the world of Outrigger Canoe, where I found a real connection. The history, culture & technical skill, combined with a craft that allows training in almost any condition was a match made in heaven.

I also consider myself a real ambassador for SUP & Outrigger sport in the UK.

From 2011-2014 I was treasurer on the committee of BaySUP the largest SUP club in the UK, growing the club, running events & securing lottery funding.

2014 I was a pivotal part of set up & launch of the first true National SUP Race Series with UK SUP Clubs.

Late 2014 I also set-up Bournemouth Outrigger Canoe Club – the first OC club on the South Coast.
